Does my tow vehicle’s policy cover a travel trailer?

Do not assume it covers damage to the trailer or belongings inside. Ask what the tow vehicle’s policy provides and what a separate RV policy would add. Tell us whether you have a conventional trailer, fifth wheel or another towable.

Does using an RV full time matter?

Tell our team if the RV is your full-time residence, where it stays and how often you travel. Ask whether the proposed policy is eligible for that use and which liability coverage applies while parked. Do not assume coverage for a temporary vacation residence fits full-time living.

What should I compare besides the RV premium?

Compare deductibles and how a covered total loss would be valued. Ask about limits for personal belongings, vacation liability, emergency lodging or transportation, and roadside assistance. Confirm which options are included and their conditions.
